“Shanshui City” - Ma Yansong New Book Launch Exhibition was held in Beijing Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) from Sep.27th to Oct.7th. In the new book, Ma introduces the origins, extension, practices and vision for his design philosophy “Shanshui City.” Graphic Design master Kenya Hara conducted the graphic design of the book, and retook pictures of MAD signature “Shanshui City” projects to be included in the book.

On the afternoon of Sep.27th, “Shanshui City” – Ma Yansong New Book Launch forum was helded in UCCA. Ma Yansong, Bao Pao, Wang Mingxian, Gu Mengchao, Li Xiangning, and Fang Zhenning attended the forum. They introduced the history and origins of “Shanshui City”, and discussed its impetus and impact on contemporary architecture theory and practice in China.

Shanshui City Chinese version of is published by Imaginist. It will be available on Oct.15th in China and is currently available for pre-order in Amazon.cn, JD.com, and dangdang.com. The English version will be published by Lars Müller Publishers and will be launched in early 2015.
