On the night of September 24th, following a lecture at Tsinghua University, Toyo Ito joined a round-table dinner talk with young Chinese architects at the MAD office. The discussion focused on Asian architecture and its practice. Other dinner guests included Ma Yansong, Xu Weiguo from Tsinghua, Zhang Ke from Standard Architects, Liang Jingyu from Approach Architects and Fang Zhenning, architecture critic and event moderator.

Invited guests and architecture students were treated to a unique architectural and cultural discussion. The dinner conversation was both casual and passionate, and allowed all six participants to speak freely about their observations and opinions on architecture, as well as their personal experience within the discipline.
