MAD is currently looking for: Senior Architect (Respectively specialize in design, project management and construction development), Intermediate Architect, Junior Architect.

Founded by Chinese architect Ma Yansong in 2004, MAD Architects is a global architecture firm committed to developing futuristic, organic, technologically advanced designs that embody a contemporary interpretation of the Eastern affinity for nature. With its core design philosophy of Shanshui City – a vision for the city of the future based in the spiritual and emotional needs of residents – MAD endeavors to create a balance between humanity, the city, and the environment. MAD is currently led by Ma Yansong, Dang Qun and Yosuke Hayano. Over 80 staff from around 20 regions in the world are serving in MAD's offices in Beijing, Los Angeles and New York City.

Senior Architects

MAD is looking for 8-10 senior architects, who will be assigned to project design, project management, construction management based on candidates' capabilities and experiences.

 

  • Project Design

1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture;

2. Have at least 10 years of experience, and involved with 3 under construction/completed projects through CD to SD stage in past working experiences(past experiences in museum, library, concert hall, theatre or large scale mix-used projects preferred), please be specifics with your role on those projects in your portfolio;

3. Expertise in Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and Rhino at least;

 

  • Project Management

1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture;

2. Have at least 10 years of experience working in a major international architecture firm, have experience in team management related job in recent 5 year;

3. Expertise in AutoCAD and Rhino at least;

4. Be highly organized and efficient, able to multi-task through tight deadlines in MAD’s fast-paced environment;

5. Be a positive motivator and team leader, having well-established leadership and skill sets, have the ability to be a great manager and supervisor.

 

  • Construction Management

1. Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture;

2. Have at least 10 years of experience working in a major international architecture firm;

3. Demonstrate strong understanding of building systems and materials;

4. Expertized in cross-team communication, coordination. Work efficiently and steadily to assure construction process meets high standard, and maximum matches original design intention.

Intermediate Architect 

1. Possess a Bachelors or higher degree in architecture;

2. Have at least 4-8 years of experience in global leading architect firms or architectural design institute;

3. At least involved with 2 under construction/completed projects in past working experiences (past experiences in hotel, urban mix-used, civic building projects desired), please be specifics with your role on those projects in your portfolio;

4. Expertise in AutoCAD at least. Could use Rhino and Maya, will be highly preferred strong manager of time, quality, schedule, and team;

Junior Architect

1. Possess a Bachelors or higher degree in architecture;

2. Have at least 2 years of experience in global leading architect firms or architectural design institute;

3. At least involved with 2 under construction/completed projects in past working experiences (past experiences in hotel, urban mix-used, civic building projects desired), please be specifics with your role on those projects in your portfolio;

4. Expertise in AutoCAD at least. Could use Rhino and Maya, will be highly preferred strong manager of time, quality, schedule, and team.
