Ma Yansong was invited to speak at the “The New Wave of Chinese Architecture” lecture in Moscow, hosted by Strelka Institute on July 24th, 2013. The lecture also featured Curator Fang Zhenning and architect Meng Yan as speakers.

With the globalization of architectural practices, foreign architects and associations are vastly involved in the Chinese urbanization process, while Chinese architects also show their talent at the international stage. Ma Yansong introduced several significant MAD projects, both Chinese and international, during the lecture, showing that the new wave of Chinese architecture has influenced buildings and cities around the world.
