Oct 17, the Good Design 2013, jointly organized by The Outlook Magazine and Bloomberg BusinessWeek, raised its curtain at the Orange Hall in Sanlitun. Ma Yansong received the Good Design 2013 Architect Award.

Since 2010, The Outlook Magazine has selected the creative icons every year for their creativity award. The hope is to provide inspiration and a platform for people with initiative to aspire to. This year, this award went to 11 "creative icons” from the field of art, design, photograph, cross-boundary, and architecture. 

Good Design 2013 also specially selected and exhibited works from 22 designers, including Ma Yansong, Erik Kessels, Ma Ke, Zhang Da, Jia Wei, Li Hu, etc, creating a greater opportunity for dialogue on making the world a better place; a world filled with wisdom and creativity.
