Ma Yansong will lecture at MAK, Vienna on May 19th 2009 as part of the MAK's 'Changing Architecture' series, where leading architects of today are invited to share their views.

The MAK (Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art) was founded in 1864 by the Imperial and Royal Austrian Museum of Art and Industry. It has pursued a commitment to combining practice and theory, art and industry, production and reproduction. Now the MAK is a center for art and a hub of global communication, aiming to function as a laboratory for the creation of new art, and as a global network to disseminate ideas and spark debate about art and architecture.
