Ma Yansong was invited to present and participate in the 2011 CREATIVE TOKYO autumn forum on the 3rd and 4th of November. In his presentation he discussed about MAD’s work and its exploration of futuristic design, amongst the panel included many creative industry professionals ranging from designers, architects, to curators and editors.

CREATIVE TOKYO is a concept designed to firmly establish Tokyo as a creative hub in Asia. This project is an attempt to bring together creative professions from Asia, together create new industries and further the potential of the local economy.

This year, the symposium Chairman Mr. Fumio Nanjo brought together creative industry professionals, including Michael Lynch, the CEO of West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and Designer Kenya Hara and many more, each profession communicated and contributed on the discussion on futuristic design in our current times. The featured topic of the TOKYO AUTUMN FORUM explored the potential of future creative industries, and the revival and reformation of the society.
