Ma Yansong spent the last hours of 2008 in "The Shop", an art space beneath a shopping center in Beijing. He was participating in the "Post-Olympic Mini-marathon", a series of interviews organized by Hans Ulrich Obrist.

The interviews and discussion lasted from 2pm, December 31th 2008 until 4am, January 1st 2009. During this time, Hans Ulrich Obrist interviewed: Ai Weiwei, Cao Fei, Zhang Anding, Xiao He, Zhang Da, Dai Zhikang, Wang Jianwei, Jia Zhangke, Jiang Jun, Ma Yansong, Yangjiang Group, Zak Kyes, Yan Jun.

A publication will be produced later, entitled Battery City/Post-Olympic Mini-marathon.
